Better Education for Mississippi to hold presser Monday

BUSINESS LEADERS TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE SUPPORTING CHARTER SCHOOLS ON MONDAY

Formation of new group of business leaders will be announced to push for a strong charter schools law in Mississippi; group will release statewide survey data on education reform measures.

On Monday at 1:30 p.m. the following business leaders will announce the formation of a non-profit organization created to advocate passage of a strong charter schools law in Mississippi during the 2013 legislative session:

The group will release details from an in-depth, scientific survey of Mississippians conducted last month that finds overwhelming support among voters for charter schools.
