NRA endorses Nunnelee in congressional race
The National Rifle Association endorsed Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Alan Nunnelee, according to a press release by the 1st District incumbent U.S. House candidate.
The NRA also gave Nunnelee an “A” rating, which defines him as a “solidly pro-gun candidate … who has supported NRA positions on key votes … .”
Nunnelee’s Democratic challenger, Brad Morris, earned an “AQ” rating from the organization, meaning it defines him as “a pro-gun candidate … who does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues.”
