House Speaker Gunn’s tour makes stop in Hub City
Dozens showed at the Hattiesburg Cultural Center today to let their voices be heard before Mississippi Speaker of the House Philip Gunn and several representatives from South Mississippi.
The meeting was part of the Mississippi Solutions ideas tour.
The forum, which came to Hattiesburg as part of the week-long tour, is aimed at gathering ideas and input as to legislative direction from citizens.
Citizens chimed in on a bevy of topics including education, government growth, timber industry regulation, juvenile justice and more.
