House Speaker Gunn Speaks In Jackson
State official hits the road.
Mississippi House Speaker Philip Gunn is holding his ideas tour throughout the month of October.
Today, the Republican from Clinton made his first stop here in the state capital where he spoke with residents, asking for their opinions on what issues they’d like lawmakers to consider.
While there were many great suggestions, Gunn says he expects to hear several more good ideas throughout the tour.
Gunn’s next closest visit to the capital city will be on October 12th at 10:00 am in Brookhaven at the State Bank and Trust.
