MSU to open new research park building
Mississippi State University was to celebrate Monday the opening of a new building in the Thad Cochran Research, Technology and Economic Development Park in Starkville.
U.S. Sens. Thad Cochran and Roger Wicker and U.S. Rep. Gregg Harper, all R-Miss., and MSU President Mark E. Keenum were among speakers.
Officials say the 20,000-square-foot building is home to a new business incubator, as well as operations for II-VI Inc., is a Pennsylvania-based firm that specializes in engineered materials and optoelectronic components.
