4th Congressional District Democratic nominee Michael Herrington has withdrawn from the race, this according to a letter obtained by the Hattiesburg Patriot.
Herrington states the reason as his mother’s health and the strain on his family and their business.

Yall Politics attempted to contact Mississippi Democratic Party Chairman Rickey Cole for comment but did not receive a response.
