Palazzo vows to protect shipbuilding from budget cuts
A thriving Ingalls shipyard is critical to the local, state and national economies.
That’s why it’s vital that Congress avoid defense cuts that would result in the loss in the loss of at least one million jobs come January 2013.
That was one of the main messages Congressman Steven Palazzo, R-Biloxi, had for the approximately 100 people who gathered for a town hall meeting on the campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at midday today.
