Palazzo forms PAC to assist colleagues

Republican Rep. Steven Palazzo has joined the ranks of lawmakers from Mississippi and other states who have created leadership political action committees to help like-minded colleagues.

“Congressman Palazzo believes that smaller government, lower taxes and less burdensome regulations will create the best environment possible for job creators,” Jake DeVantier, Palazzo’s campaign manager, said in a statement. “He plans to support others who believe in that cause and can help turn our country around.”

Palazzo, a freshman and an assistant GOP whip, was among the 87 Republicans who were elected to the House in 2010 on promises to cut spending.
