Palazzo: Long-term solutions needed
U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo may be nearing the end of only his first year in Congress, but he said his focus has been anything but short-term.
Palazzo, R-Miss., said he had been “disappointed, but not discouraged” by the lack of compromise that has kept Congress from reaching long-term solutions on the likes of the federal budget, the national debt and programs such as Medicare and Social Security.
“I feel like the House Republicans and myself, we have real, long-term solutions for real, long-term problems,” Palazzo said Wednesday morning during a stop on his media holiday tour of the 4th District.
