McDaniel Not Running Against Palazzo

n a Roll Call article looking at the prospects of a primary challenge to Rep. Steven Palazzo, one big name that you can scratch off the list of potential challengers is state Sen. Chris McDaniel. McDaniel has a very strong following among conservatives throughout the state, and has been mentioned as a statewide candidate in the past. That certainly looks like the most viable option if the timing is right is 2015. A Senate run in 2014, should Thad Cochran retire, is also a possibility. But a run against Palazzo isn’t.
