Calhoun County Election Results

Official totals show 62% participation in general election

The Calhoun winner in all seven statewide races also won their overall race. Winners with their percentage of vote in Calhoun were: Governor – Republican Phil Bryant (69%), Lt. Governor – Republican Tate Reeves (84%), Attorney General – Democrat Jim Hood (67%), State Auditor – Republican Stacey Pickering (74%), State Treasurer – Republican Lynn Fitch (66%), Agriculture Commissioner – Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith(56%), Insurance Commissioner – Republican Mike Chaney (67%).
Democrat Brandon Presley earned re-election as Public Service Commissioner and carried Calhoun with 62% of the vote.
Republican Mike Tagert carried Calhoun with 61% in winning re-election as Transportation Commissioner.
