Palazzo: Wall Street protests “staged”
CAMP SHELBY, MS (WDAM) – Congressman Steven Palazzo has some strong words for the ongoing protests across the country that began several weeks ago under the name Occupy Wall Street. He says the demonstrations are “staged” and says protesters aren’t adding anything to the debate about the country’s economic woes.
“They just want to increase taxes and increase spending, where we want basically to keep taxes flat and stop our spending, because we don’t have a revenue problem in America, we have a spending problem,” Palazzo said.
