ENTERGY calls out Jim Hood on TV ad
n Jim Hood’s first campaign ad of this election cycle, he makes a note of taking on “corporate wrongdoers” including, specifically mentioned by name, Entergy. And to be sure, Hood has been going after the energy company for some time now. Of course, going after them is all he has to show. The company has continuously been shown to be operating properly and has not been shown to have done any wrongdoing at this point (see here and here, for example).
Hood appears to be operating under the “guilty until proven innocent” model, perhaps as a way to affect the jury pool should this ever make it that far.
As a result of Hood’s ad, Haley Fisackerly, President and CEO, Entergy Mississippi, Inc., sent out an email saying this:
