Gov. Barbour to speak at NY GOP event
ALBANY, N.Y. — Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour (BAR-boor) will be the keynote speaker for the New York state Republican Committee’s annual event.
State GOP Chairman Edward Cox says the former national GOP chairman who is influential in Republican presidential campaigns will speak at the dinner Sept. 14.
The dinner in New York City will also feature Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus (RINSE PREE-bus) as well as state Senate leader Dean Skelos and Assembly Republican leader Brian Kolb.
