Details: Entergy Mississippi has announced intentions to join a Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) – specifically, the Midwest Independent System Operator (MISO). What is an RTO? What does it do? How will this benefit reliable and affordable electricity in Mississippi within Entergy Mississippi’s service area? These are questions and issues to be answered and discussed by Aldie Warnock, Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs for MISO.
This is a homecoming of sorts for Aldie Warnock. Prior to serving at MISO he served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Reliant Energy in Houston, Texas; Senior Vice President of Governmental & Regulatory Affairs at Mirant Corp. in Atlanta, Georgia; and Vice President of External Affairs at Allegheny Energy in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. But, Aldie Warnock is a Vicksburg, Mississippi native educated at Mississippi State University.
