Some Legislative Fundraising Numbers

As we size up what will likely be the competitive legislative races this fall, I wanted to take a look at fundraising numbers from incumbents and challengers in the state House. As usually happens, the people with the most money aren’t in any kind of competitive race so we’ll leave them out for the time being. As it turns out, what you’ll see in most cases is there is not a lot of money going around just yet.

** Rep. Shaun Walley (D-Leakesville) released his report showing a little less than $3,000 on hand (view report here). His Republican challenger, Dennis DeBar, has about $3,600 cash-on-hand (view report here).
