Grisham helps dedicate new Ole Miss Law School in honor of former chancellor Khayat
OXFORD, Miss. — Best-selling author John Grisham says he hopes graduates of the new University of Mississippi Law School will fight for social change.
Grisham was in Oxford on Friday to help dedicate the law school in honor of former Ole Miss Chancellor Robert Khayat, who’s been credited with expanding the school’s programs through record fundraising, while he pushed to rid the school of some Old South images.
Grisham said there are too many Americans who have been denied access to justice.
