Bobby DeLaughter released from prison
Former Hinds County Circuit Judge Bobby DeLaughter is back home after 13 months in prison for lying to the FBI.
“Good for him,” said Matt Steffey, professor at Mississippi College School of Law. “Will be interesting to see if he ever speaks in a public way or writes a book about this experience, providing some accounting or some story of redemption. Of course, it wouldn’t surprise me if he never did.”
