Haley Barbour leads 2012 contenders in favorability in home state

Favorable Ratings:

a. Mike Huckabee 74%/13% for +61%.

b. Sarah Palin 70%/21% for +49%.

c. Newt Gingrich 58%/24% for +34%.

d. Mitt Romney 48%/36% for +12%.

Haley Barbour’s job approval is 85%/10% for +75%.

Pollster Tom Jensen notes that Haley Barbour’s home-state performance is stronger than any other ’12 contenders in their home states, except for Mitt Romney.
