National debt clock to be erected in Gautier

GAUTIER, MS (WLOX) –
Young Americans for Liberty, a student organization at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Jackson County campus, will erect a 40-foot National Debt Clock at the walkway between the LRC building and the Science building.

The organization will also petition Congressman Steven Palazzo to come to the Gautier campus and address the $14 trillion national debt.

A news release from organizers of the debt clock construction say if politicians do not tackle the upcoming debt crisis, our generation will suffer grave consequences. The goal of Young Americans for Liberty at MGCCC is to raise awareness about the dangers of the national debt.
