Responses To Senate Killing House Plan
Here are some comments from Republicans and Democrats on yesterday’s action that essentially killed the Democrats redistricting plan in the House:
Rep. Kevin McGee (R-Brandon): “Ding dong the witch is dead! The House redistricting plan is dead.”
Rep. Brandon Jones (D-Pascagoula): “Wanting to run in only one election per term is a purely bipartisan sentiment.”
Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant (R): “This idea that there must be one plan and everybody must follow it I think is the wrong direction that we need to go.”
