Panel OKs Graves nomination again
WASHINGTON — The Senate Judiciary Committee voted unanimously Thursday to approve the nomination of Mississippi Supreme Court Justice James Graves for the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
The vote is the second time the panel has approved sending Graves’ nomination to the full Senate.
Committee members also voted on the nomination along with others in December, but the Senate adjourned later that year without holding a final confirmation vote on Graves or 18 other judicial nominees.
