Another party switch in Mississippi Thursday
Here is the release from the GOP: “Governor Haley Barbour and Mississippi Republican Party Chairman Brad White will welcome a Democratic state legislator to the Republican Party at a press conference on Thursday, January 20, at the MSGOP headquarters in Jackson. The elected official will announce a switch from the Democratic to the Republican Party.”
I have heard in pretty solid terms that the switcher will be Rep. Russ Nowell of Louisville. That is from sources outside the Republican Party; we will see what tomorrow brings.
