Morgan Shands to run Billy Hewes’ campaign
Now that the campaign managers for the four announced governor candidates have been identified (e.g., sims for bryant; perry for dennis; strider for luckett; and hall for dupree), we now turn to the Lt. Governor candidates. The only one to announce so far is Sen. Billy Hewes, and the word on the street is that he has signed the well known operative Morgan Shands to the top post. Shands ran Mike Chaney’s campaign for Insurance Commissioner in 2007 and then worked on Roger Wicker’s campaign in 2008. This is a big deal.
