Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant says the education community should be happy about next year’s funding for K-12 education.
“We expect level funding for education,” he said. “We already have an agreement between the Legislature and the governor to level fund education.”
Bryant made his statement during a visit to Oak Grove Upper Elementary School on Wednesday, where he spoke at a D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) graduation for 480 fifth-graders.
