MS farm leader Waide: No political campaign
JACKSON — Outgoing Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation President David Waide says he will not be a candidate for governor or any other statewide office next year.
Waide made the announcement during the Farm Bureau’s annual meeting, during which he ended his 14 years as head of the politically influential group that has about 205,000 member families.
