Sports Sound Off: How do you like Gene Chizik now?
Auburn made right choice
I am calling about Mike Herndon’s article, “Alternative to Chizik not option.” It was a good article. It was perfect on the Turner Gill response, on how everyone was critical about why we didn’t hire him, about him being black and how it was a race thing when it was really about him being an unproven coach. I am a huge Auburn fan with two thumbs up for Chizik and his first year through recruiting and two seasons of Auburn football.
McElroy a great quarterback
I would like to sound off regarding “UA needs a quarterback.” If Greg McElroy is not a quarterback, there’s not a quarterback out there to be had. He is a quarterback who has not lost a game since the eighth grade, he’s got a high school championship under his belt, he’s got the national championship of college football, and you say Alabama doesn’t have a good quarterback?
Dooleys, Sabans do it right
What a great story about the Dooley and Saban families. That’s the way all sports stories should be. It’s not a game of hate. It’s a sport game
