Crystal Martin, attorney for the county Board of Supervisors, told supervisors and residents she doesn’t know why all of the Chancery Court judges recused themselves.
“Legally, they do not have to provide a reason,” she said.
“I know one of the judges won’t hear it because she is my mother,” said Martin, daughter of Chancery Judge Patricia Wise.
