Alabama’s loss underscores the strength of the SEC
This might have sounded like blasphemy a week ago, but the amazing thing isn’t that Alabama lost by two touchdowns at South Carolina on Saturday. The amazing thing is that anybody could have avoided a game like that through 29 regular-season games in the SEC.
As much as some considered Alabama’s dominance in the SEC akin to the New York Yankees playing Little League, there really isn’t that big a gap between most of the teams in this conference.
