This is where we are in the instant-on life of college football. One week everyone loves you when the lights are bright, and the next minute you’re the Arkansas Razorbacks.
You remember the Hogs, right? Quarterback Ryan Mallett was at the top of everyone’s list of the most important players at the most important position on the field. And the Hogs were the trendy pick to rattle cages in the big, bad SEC.
The next thing you know, Mallett throws three interceptions in a loss to defending national champion Alabama, and now he may as well play for Arkansas State.
“It’s not about me,” Mallett says. “It’s about this team.”
