But beating the defending national champions and last year’s Heisman Trophy winner isn’t going to be easy. The Crimson Tide have outscored their first three opponents 134-19 and have their Heisman winner back. After missing the first two games with a knee injury, running back Mark Ingram ran for 151 yards on nine carries with two touchdowns last weekend against Duke.
“We’ve got to try and slow him down and do a good job on first down,” Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino said. “I thought we defended him well a year ago.”
