Speaking of auditor, Henry Knox Ross is reported to be running for that position. He is the Mayor of Pelahatchie and a CPA. The question will be if he wins, will the State Auditor’s office have Christmas decorations year-round and will Country-pleasin’ Sausage replace Krispy Kremes in the office as well. Democrat Mike Sumrall, who lost to Pickering in 2007, is rumored to be running for State Auditor again.
