Mabus holds meeting on Gulf’s future
THEODORE, Alabama (WALA) – The President’s point man on oil spill recovery came to the Gulf Coast Monday. Navy Secretary Ray Mabus kicked off a series of town hall meetings in Theodore.
A big crowd did turn out for a town hall style meeting with Secretary Ray Mabus at Nan Gray Davis Elementary in Theodore.
Mabus was appointed by President Obama to come up with a recovery plan for the entire Gulf Coast.
“This is my third trip to Alabama in the last four weeks, and I see a lot of faces in the crowd that I’ve seen before, and I appreciate very much your willingness to be here,” Mabus told the crowd.
