Alabama leads way with ESPNU 150 players

Alabama, which is coming off three straight recruiting classes ranked among the top 3 in the country, is setting the early pace in the SEC for the 2011 class.

The Crimson Tide have a league-high five commitments in the updated ESPNU 150 list , which was released Wednesday.

Florida, Georgia and LSU each have four, while Auburn has three. Arkansas and Kentucky each have one.

The states of Florida and Georgia produced the most ESPNU 150 prospects in the south — 40 coming from Florida and 18 from Georgia. The state of Texas was second overall with 20 ESPNU 150 prospects.
