Tubby Smith says he hasn’t received Oregon offer

Multiple sites are reporting that the Minnesota coach denied any contact with Oregon. The St. Paul Pioneer Press reported Monday that Oregon was getting ready to offer Smith a contract worth $2 million per year.
“I don’t know; I haven’t been contacted by anybody,” Smith told the Press.
The Press also is reporting that Minnesota is working on an extension with Smith, who has three years remaining on his current contract. Smith is making $1.8 million.
