Mississippi State ready to start hitting at spring football practice
The Bulldogs worked mainly on the turf fields Thursday afternoon after heavy rain earlier in the day. The skies cleared in the afternoon, but gusty wind made parts of practice more difficult.
“We threw the ball pretty well in the wind,” Mullen said. “The kicking periods were where it really got to us. But we’ll have to play in it. We’ll have to play in rain or snow or whatever, so we’ll practice in it, too.”
