Alabama won’t be invincible in 2010
Where do you want me to start? Florida, Penn State, Auburn, LSU, Arkansas, Tennessee? Get it?
While I’m well aware that Alabama is loaded with young players ready to step in and fill the void, you simply don’t lose nine starters on defense—and one of the nation’s best kickers—and not feel it.
I’d say one (or two) of those three key road games—Arkansas, LSU or Tennessee—is where Alabama could slip. Playing on the road is where you miss the luxury of knowing your kicker is golden, of knowing your middle linebacker will have everyone in position, of knowing your free safety won’t blow a coverage.
