Woods, Daly have something in common
Not quite 4 1/2 years ago, they traded sky-scraping drives right here in San Francisco. Tiger Woods and John Daly staged an epic duel on that unforgettable day at Harding Park, even if it ended with a whimper when Daly’s measly 3-foot putt veered wide.
They were mostly golfers then, larger-than-life figures as they marched around our municipal course.
