NFL combine kicks off in Indianapolis for scouts, players
The NFL Scouting Combine — an annual job fair for the 330 college football players that could be selected in the 2010 NFL draft in April — kicks off today.
Players will be measured, weighed, tested in a variety of drills, medically evaluated and interviewed at Lucas Oil Stadium.
About 600 executives, coaches, scouts and medical personnel from the NFL’s 32 teams, including the Super Bowl runner-up Indianapolis Colts, attend the combine, which has escalated in importance as the sport has grown in popularity.
