Mississippi Democrat ‘vulnerable’ in Nov.
State Senator Alan Nunnelee, one of two Republicans who have declared their candidacy for the seat Childers holds, says liberals in Washington think that the way to create jobs is to “spend money that’s borrowed from our grandchildren.”
“I think the way that we’ll create jobs is to let the private sector — businesses large and small — expand their business,” says the House hopeful. “If we allow them to keep more of their own money, we’ll create our own stimulus.”
Nunnelee contends Childers is out of touch with his conservative North Mississippi district because he “votes with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi 82 percent of the time.”
Childers’ press secretary Dana Edelstein told OneNewsNow yesterday that Congressman Childers was unavailable for an interview.
