Deuce McAllister retiring from NFL
NEW ORLEANS — Deuce McAllister will announce his retirement from football later today, he told The Clarion-Ledger this afternoon.
The New Orleans Saints need McAllister’s roster position to sign a wide receiver after an injury to Robert Meachem makes him questionable for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Minnesota Vikings.
“I was pretty well content and ready to retire before all this came up,”
