Thompson dispatches team to London, Amsterdam
The chairman of the House Homeland Security committee is dispatching a team of staff members to London and Amsterdam to investigate the failed Christmas Day attack.
Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) announced Friday that his staff would visit embassy and airport officials to probe the attack.
The House Homeland Security committee is one of a handful of committees set to probe how a man with a bomb sewn into his underwear made his way on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.
