Tuberville a solid choice to replace Leach at Texas Tech
Against the backdrop of lawsuits, animosity, e-mails and video tours of dark, cool places, Texas Tech did better than anybody could have predicted in finding a replacement for Mike Leach.
Tommy Tuberville will be introduced today in Lubbock as the new Tech football coach.
If the move doesn’t exactly reach the level of stirring or sexy, it’s definitely smart.
From Tech’s perspective, Tuberville was a proven commodity who could continue the school’s success and cope with the current dysfunction.
