Willis says he left for Alabama, not against Auburn
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.
James Willis can smile now, sitting here before the BCS Championship Game, discussing for the first time in public all the hate that hit him when he crossed a line some people think should never be crossed.
From Auburn to Alabama.
“That’s pretty strong in our state,” said Alabama defensive boss Kirby Smart. “That’s tough. It takes a lot of guts.”
