ATLANTA – The promise has been broken.
Finally and firmly.
Decidedly and devastatingly.
Not dramatically.
But emphatically.
After 22 consecutive victories and nearly two seasons, Tim Tebow’s famous promise lay smashed and splintered on the Georgia Dome Turf Saturday afternoon. And Alabama, after this 32-13 methodical dismantling of the No. 1-ranked Gators, danced and pranced over the shattered shards.
