Gingrich to speak at Rankin County Banquet

Planned for this Thursday, the event honors U.S. Rep. Gregg Harper, a Rankin County native.

The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. with the banquet following at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for each cost $125 per person for the event that will be heald at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Jackson.

Harper said he’s excited about bringing Gingrich to Mississippi.

“Alongside then-RNC Chairman Haley Barbour, Speaker Gingrich’s commitment to conservative principles led to the 1994 ‘Republican Revolution,’ which resulted in Republican majorities in both Houses and Congress,” he said.
