Jordan could play vs. Ole Miss
BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU coach Les Miles says Jordan Jefferson is expected to practice all week and the Tigers are hopeful the quarterback will be able to play at Mississippi after missing the last game with a sprained right ankle.
Jefferson sat out last week’s 24-16 victory over Louisiana Tech. Jarrett Lee filled in, completing 7 of 22 passes for 105 yards.
Although LSU has no shot at a Southeastern Conference title, Miles says playing in a New Year’s Day Bowl and finishing with a top-five national ranking are among the Tigers’ remaining goals.
If LSU finishes ranked fifth or better, it would mark the third time in four years the Tigers had done so.
