Roger Wicker was named Friday the ranking Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee’s Seapower Subcommittee. Former Gov. Ray Mabus is Secretary of the Navy, and Democratic US Rep. Gene Taylor is chairman of the House seapower subcommittee.
