Tide passing attack that had been sizzling suddenly is fizzling
TUSCALOOSA – For a number of reasons in recent weeks, Alabama’s passing numbers have dropped.
Passes have been dropped, for one thing. Rushing defensive ends and blitzing linebackers have not been dropped by Alabama’s offensive linemen. Better defenses have dropped players unexpectedly into coverages designed to confuse a quarterback.
As a result, a quarterback who was sizzling now is fizzling.
