Viking Classic field proves there’s golf left
RIDGELAND – You might have noticed the headline in Monday’s Sports section: “Lefty rallies, ends year on good note.”
For many PGA Tour players – and golf fans – the season did end Sunday, with Phil Mickelson shooting a 65 to win the Tour Championship and Tiger Woods finishing second and capturing the FedEx Cup and its $10 million bonus.
